What Education Minister says about us:

The Sangeet Niketan, Delhi, is one of the oldest prestigious institutions of dance & music in Delhi. It began teaching Hindustani Musicand various forms of Dances and Instruments at a time when institutional teaching of these were not much in vogue. I am happy to learn that it is celebrating its 20th Annual Convocation on 1st March, 1970.

Further I wish the institution and the members who have worked for this institution all success in their endeavors.

Facilities offered by the Institute :

The Institute offers transportation facility to the students on hire basis. The other facilities available in the campus of the Institute are a common room for teachers, seven VCP/VCR, a television and a PC with internet connection of 100 Mbps.

The Institute is served by 12 eminent teachers and the principal of the College Sh. Chakravarty Ram Mohan Rai is an eminent Akashvani Artiste.

Campus of the College :

The Institute is functioning in a rented building with five halls and five classrooms.The campus also includes a Library that can accommodate 10 students at a time.

The Library has a collection of nearly 2500 books, nearly 65 multimedia literatures and the Library is subscribing to two journals related to the field of vocal & instrumental music and dances. Books in Sanskrit, English and Hindi languages are available in the Library for reference of the staff members and students.
